Our commitment extends beyond training. We actively contribute to organizations such as North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association, Pheasants Forever, and Ducks Unlimited to advance conservation efforts, mentor hunters, and preserve the traditions we value.
The Journey to a Transformed Dog:
1. Discovery Call
A discovery call is a short initial conversation where we learn more about you and your dog, including their background, goals, and challenges. It gives us the opportunity to explain our services, answer your questions, and determine whether your dog and training goals are a good fit for our programs and facility.
2. Initial Meet & Consultation
Our consultations are an essential step in getting to know you and your dog, including their training and hunting background, as well as your goals and expectations. This is also an opportunity for you to meet our team and view our facility and property. During the consultation, we conduct a hands-on evaluation, which is critical in determining the most appropriate training program for your dog. This process allows us to establish a clear plan moving forward, set realistic expectations, and define measurable goals.
3. Training
Our bird dog training programs are designed to develop the natural abilities of each dog while building the skills needed to become a reliable hunting companion. From early puppy development and foundational obedience to advanced field training and finishing work, we offer programs that guide dogs through every stage of their journey. Whether you're starting with a young prospect or refining the skills of an experienced dog, we're committed to helping you bring out their full potential.
4. Transition & Handling Session
The next step of the training program, where we transfer your dog’s training to you. During this appointment, we review what your dog has learned and coach you through how to handle, communicate with, and maintain their training so you can continue building and maintaining success at home.
5. Pre-Season Follow-Up Session
This session is scheduled after your initial training and transition work, and is designed to review progress, reinforce training, and address any challenges that may have developed over time. It also ensures you and your dog are fully prepared ahead of hunting season, with a focus on polishing skills, strengthening reliability, and setting you up for success in the field.
