Pre-Adoption Research

We encourage you to thoroughly review our website and contact us to follow up with any questions or concerns you may have regarding our breeding program. We also encourage you to research and speak with competitors so you are well informed about the different lines of German Shorthaired Pointers available on the market. By doing this, you will be well-equipped to make an informed decision for your family.

Applying for a Westrock Puppy

After completing your research you may consider or choose to adopt a Westrock German Shorthaired Pointer puppy. The next step would be to complete the puppy application - this application helps us learn more about who you are and the life you could provide for a Westrock puppy. In addition to completing the puppy application, please schedule a telephone call through our booking platform so we can discuss your application and answer any questions you may have.

Application Approval

If we believe a Westrock puppy is right for you, your application will be approved. We will then have you review and sign our Puppy Adoption Contract. We also require a non refundable deposit in order to secure your spot on the waitlist.

The Waitlist

Once you are on the waitlist, we will be in constant communication about our upcoming litters and when you can expect your new puppy. As we breed studs and dams with like characteristics, there are minimal differences between littermates. However, we work together in selecting the puppy best suited for you based on preferred temperament, colour, and sex. If your preferred characteristics are not available in the litter, you are able to transfer your deposit to a future litter without penalty. If you decide you no longer want to adopt a Westrock puppy, you will forfeit your deposit.
